Should the drinking age be lowered back to 18

There is a movement to lower the drinking age back to 18. Proponents of the movement feel that since you are considered an adult at 18, you could vote at 18, and you could join the military and fight for your country at 18, among other things, then you should be able to drink an alcoholic beverage at 18. What do you think?

I do not think that the age limit should be lowered rather the opposite I believe it should be raised, just because a person is 18 and considered an adult does not make him resposible, a person at 18 could join the military and fight for his country is trained to handle arms and also disiplined in self presevation. on voteing this is taught as you progress in years at college and at home again with some degree of training, also learning to drive is coached by a qualified instuctor but never with alcohol and we have drink and drive fatalities so I say until they devise a system where the responsibility of consuming alcohol is actually taken seriously then it should stay as it is or even raised just my opinion David
