- Multi-cultural author Linda Alexander has lupus. She’s written 4 books—one about an adult film star, another about Messianic Jews, and novels of dark romantic suspense. A 1991 letter on psychological child abuse put her on the Oprah Show. For 20 years, she’s freelanced for magazines such as Soap Opera Update, and newspapers including The Washington Times and Baton Rouge Advocate. Interviews include actors Jim Varney, Robert Stack, Michael Zaslow, and her teenage heartthrob, Michael Cole, from 1970s “The Mod Squad;” also, singers Gary Puckett, Tiny Tim, and others.

An editor from a prominent publisher said, “I felt . . . I was sitting in on a Barbara Walters interview.”
Linda’s newest book, RELUCTANT WITNESS: ROBERT TAYLOR, HOLLYWOOD, & COMMUNISM, is the biography on Hollywood’s Golden Era movie star, Robert Taylor, expected out by the ’08 holiday season. Taylor starred in Camille with Greta Garbo, Waterloo Bridge with Vivien Leigh, and Quo Vadis with Deborah Kerr. His involvement in the 1940s hysteria over communism in Hollywood forever branded him the ultra-conservative movie star to “named names.”
